COBcares 5k & Fun Run @ DeSales University

The COBSCARES 5K RUN, 2.5K WALK & KIDS FUN RUN

is hosted by the Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity at DeSales University.

The event starts and finishes behind the McShea Student Center at DeSales University. The course is a 2.5K loop that will be run twice or walked once on rolling macadam, spacious lawns and lush landscape of the DeSales campus, which has a panoramic view of the Lehigh Valley.

With the event being a week before Halloween there is nothing better than spicing up this race with a crazy costume… or not. Whether you are going for spooky, crazy, trendy or fun, there are endless possibilities. There will also be pre-race face painting available to those who may need a little help getting in the spirit. This will be a great excuse to gather your family and friends to do something that’s good for the heart, soul and your community.

There is plenty of room along the route for family and friends to come and cheer.

Runners and walkers start at 10 am
Kids Fun Run (Grades K-3) starts at 9:45 amRain or shine

Awards in 7 age groups and prize for best costume.

Entry Fees are as follows:
$10 for kids 13 and under for the Kid’s Run, 5K RUN & 2.5K WALK
(fee increases to $15 after October 6, 2018 (no guarantee of shirt availability)
$25 for all walkers and runners
(fee increases to $30 after October 6, 2018 (no guarantee on shirt availability)

Online registration will be available at Active.com after June 1, 2018 (nominal processing fee applies)
